Every single day, year round, 150 farmers pool milk from their Montbéliardes cattle at the 11 Fromageries Vagne fruitières found across the Jura Massif. Each daily delivery depends on the individual accountability of the farmer, the basis of the collective approach.
Roasted-grain, plant, fruit, spicy, and lactic flavours…like for wine, our cheese gives a sense of tasting delights. Fromageries Vagne works hard to bring out the subtle hint of brioche bread, honey, hazelnut, hay, caramel and other savours.
The maturer knows all the characteristic features of the terroir of every fruitière.
